A's Hair Academy offers the 16-hour Health and Sanitation course that is required by Tennessee State Law to become a registered Hair Braider. As a professional hair braider, it is important to know how to protect your clients as well as knowing how to keep yourself safe.

In the salon, it is always best to have the knowledge needed for safe practices. The choice is yours, whether you choose to work in a salon or continue to braid in your private residence. Wherever you decide as your workplace, it is important to be registered with the state to maintain compliance.

After completing the course and successfully passing the assessment, you will receive a certificate of completion which proves you have dedicated 16 hours to learning about Infection Control (Health and Sanitation) along with Diseases & Disorders of the hair and scalp.
